The decor in the outdoor garden of Jam restaurant on Damen Avenue in Chicago is cool, industrial, nostalgic and artistic. The perfect backdrop to enjoy their to-die-for french toast.

Living Updates

There are three items on the shortlist for what I'm calling my "living room warm up." Right now, cool tones dominate, but I'm ready to add some natural, personal touches. The shelves and rug are from Pottery Barn, and the pendant is from West Elm.

Southern Comfort

My friend may live in St. Louis, but she was born and raised in southern Missouri, and her hospitality is 100 percent southern. From the china-served brunch to the monogrammed linens, nothing says "Welcome" like her home. Thanks for making us feel so welcome, lovely! Just love your cozy home!
